South African Singer Keegan Graham Releases Debut Single

South African based, Durban born, singer-songwriter, Keegan Graham has composed his debut original track titled “Dear Diary.” The song was composed during the countries nationwide lockdown and was eventually recorded in Keegan’s home studio with local Producer extraordinaire, SkattaIsDead. The pre-summer melodic anthem is set to release this Friday, October 23, 2020. The song will be available to stream on Apple Music and Spotify and to purchase on major music platforms like iTunes and Google Play.

“It’s amazing to finally be able to release something that I’ve created. Something I’ve poured my emotions into. It’s just crazy to see everything come together and I’m so stoked with how its come out,” said Keegan. When asked about his inspiration behind the song Dear Diary, “It all started with this girl named Hailey…” joked Keegan. “…everyone’s been through heartbreak and I think it’s just a collective of my emotions from the heartaches I’ve experienced. I mean, I’m pretty sure, we have all had a Hailey in our lives,” he added.

The former Crawford College, La Lucia student, has always had a passion for music from an early age. Although music is and has been a passion for Keegan throughout his life, he only found his voice in Grade 9, when he was just 16 years old. Since then, it’s been his way of creatively expressing himself and connecting with who he is! “In today’s world it’s incredibly important to know yourself and believe that you can be who you want to be,” said Keegan.

Keegan earned his popularity after releasing a few cover songs over Social Media, and is now elated to finally release his very own original song, Dear Diary. Newly signed to Artist Management agency Society 5.0, championed by Justin Nanak, Dear Diary will be the beginning of many songs soon to be released by this talented young man.
