Inside the Surreal World of Radderall & Muzzy Fossa’s Concept Album “The Club Is Open”
Cleveland-based visionaries Radderall and Muzzy Fossa invite listeners into their dreamlike world with The Club Is Open, a concept album arriving October 31, 2025, via Wax Mage Records. The record follows two characters navigating the delicate balance between self-indulgence and self-discovery — a sonic and emotional search for a mythical venue known simply as The Club.
Presented under the name R.A.M. (Radderall & Muzzy Fossa), the album serves as both a narrative and an introspection. The story unfolds around the tension between chasing fleeting highs — through vanity, ego, or temporary love — and the deeper, more lasting pursuit of meaning, connection, and identity. Through its layered production and vivid lyricism, The Club Is Open embodies themes of resurrection, transformation, and renewal.
Radderall, the long-evolving multimedia project led by Zach Taneyhill, has built a reputation for merging lush psych-pop textures with cinematic visuals and deeply human storytelling. Since its 2012 inception, the project has expanded from humble GarageBand beginnings to a full-scale creative collective, known for records like Vakation (2018), If Ever (2020), and How Can I? (2022). The latter marked Radderall’s first collaboration with Muzzy Fossa, setting the stage for their current artistic fusion.
Muzzy Fossa, the creative alias of Nathan Hunt, brings a distinct sonic palette rooted in rhythm, texture, and atmosphere. His production style walks the line between intimacy and scale — shaping immersive experiences that feel both handcrafted and cinematic. His collaborations span across Cleveland’s thriving underground scene, producing for artists such as Wish Queen, Jessica Jones, and John’s Little Sister.
Together, Taneyhill and Hunt create an album that is equal parts theatrical and introspective — where analog warmth meets surreal storytelling. Their joint work reflects both their shared Cleveland roots and their mutual desire to turn vulnerability into art.
As Radderall puts it, “The Club isn’t a place — it’s a feeling. It’s what happens when you stop pretending and start creating from the heart.”
With its lush soundscapes, hypnotic grooves, and philosophical undertones, The Club Is Open isn’t just an album — it’s an invitation to step inside.
