Rising Pop-Country Star Logan LNXK Discusses New Single and More
We caught up with rising country star Logan LNXK and writer/producer Joseph "Jody: Fulton IV to talk about their new single "Dust on the Dashboard".
How did you get started in music?
Logan LNXK:
Honestly, music found me before I found it. I grew up writing poems and journaling feelings I couldn’t say out loud. One day I turned a few lines into lyrics and realized it hit different when I sang it. From that moment, I knew — this wasn’t just something I loved, it was who I was.
You mentioned wanting to bring out your storytelling side more. Do you feel you’ve done that with “Dust on the Dashboard”?
Logan LNXK:
Absolutely. This song let me tell a story that feels cinematic and real—those late-night drives where you process life, love, loss, and freedom. Every lyric is a snapshot of my own journey.
Joseph ‘Jody’ Fulton IV:
My goal was to make the listener see the story—every sound pulling you into that moment. The hum of tires, the ache in the vocal, the quiet before clarity. Logan brought that vision to life beautifully.
How has the response been from new fans?
Logan LNXK:
It’s been amazing. Hearing from people worldwide who say the song made them stop and feel means everything.
Joseph ‘Jody’ Fulton IV:
The response has been authentic—thousands of real listeners connecting emotionally, not just streaming. That’s when you know the art is working.
What does “Dust on the Dashboard” mean to you?
Logan LNXK:
It’s reflection. That quiet space between where you’ve been and where you’re headed—the dust represents memories that stay with you.
Joseph ‘Jody’ Fulton IV:
It’s life’s residue—moments that shape you long after the ride. The beauty is in the imperfection, and that’s what gives it soul.
