THEY. performs "On and On" for Vevo's Ctrl.At.Home

Vevo announces THEY. as the next artist in their Ctrl.At.Home series with a performance of “On And On” premiering today. Vevo’s Ctrl series highlights the work of hard-hitting, cutting-edge musicians making an impact in today’s music scene – both emerging and established. These artists demand attention, and Vevo’s Ctrl shines a deserving spotlight. THEY.'s performance follows sessions from Rick Ross, Common, Rapsody, Fat Joe, Jeezy, Jadakiss, Fabolous, A$AP Ferg and more.

THEY. is Drew Love and Dante Jones, childhood friends who released their debut full-length album Nü Religion: HYENA to critical acclaim back in 2017. Since it's release, THEY. has toured with Bryson Tiller and collaborated with the likes of Skrillex, Wale, Tinashe and more.

Along with writing about the highs and lows of relationships, THEY. has earned continuous media praise for addressing issues surrounding police brutality. Their passion for these injustices shines through in "On And On" off their latest album The Amanda Tape. THEY. explains, "This song has dual meaning to it. On the surface, it’s a song about a relationship, but when writing it, we were also speaking about our relationship with the world around us. Things have changed so much, so rapidly and we must believe there’s hope that things will change for the better. From day one we’ve wanted to use our platform responsibly to shed light on issues that affect us. This song was an opportunity to keep the conversation going about police brutality and social injustices that have afflicted our community for years."

“On And On” is now streaming on all platforms. Keep up with exclusive content from artists all over the world on YouTube.com/Vevo.
